The E-4B Airborne Command Post is an aircraft operated by the United States Air Force (USAF). To create the E-4 series, four 747-200 airframes were specially modified to serve as a survivable mobile command post for the National Command Authority,

This conversion pack is for use with our
Transport Wings 747-100/200 kit and CF-6 engines conversion pack.

To build a model of the E-4B Airborne Command Post it is necessary to buy:

-      The Transport Wings 747-100/200 kit which gives the basic airframe

-      The CF-6 engines conversion pack which gives the General Electric engines to replace the                     Pratt & Whitney engines supplied in the 747-100/200 kit

-      This E-4B Airborne Command Post conversion pack.

The conversion pack contains:

•  Cast resin in-flight refuelling receptacle, satcom antenna and other detail parts
•  Cast metal probe antennae for the tips of the wings and horizontal stabilizer
•  Etched brass fret of antennae
•  Silkscreen printed decals
•  Detailed instructions
