L93A Flash Pod for RAF Phantom FGR2

Conversion Set - 1:48 scale

The L93A flash pod was introduced for use on all reconnaissance variants of the RAF FGR.2 Phantom to complement the EMI reconnaissance pod and to provide a night reconnaissance. capability.
They were fitted to the wing pylons and were a direct replacement for the Sargent Fletcher tanks,.
They were designed around the Sargent Fletcher underwing tank, replacing the nose and tail sections
with multi-flash generators housed in glass lensed assemblies.

The conversion set consists of two cast resin  sections, which replace the front and rear sections of an underwing fuel tank on the Hasagawa 1:48 Phantom FGR2 kit..
