Shackleton MR3, phase 3 (Viper engines)
Conversion Set
The ultimate development of the Shackleton was the MR3 phase 3, where a Bristol Siddeley turbojet
engine was installed in the rear of the outboard engine nacelles.
This conversion has been developed in collaboration with a friend from Bristol,
John Cotterill, who is a keen military modeller. This conversion is designed to be used with Eastern Express, FROG, Novo, Revell, etc. kits.
The conversion set consists of two cast resin aft nacelle sections, which incorporate
the Viper intake and jet pipe, two resin intake doors and eight metal door support struts.
