These kits use etched brass to replicate the structure of the original aircraft,
which can then be covered with Litespan heat-shrink film.
This gives a good representation of the fragile construction of those early aircraft - when you look at a model against the light you can see the structure through the covering.
We do not know of any other range of models
where the actual construction of the
original is replicated
